Product Data Management Initiative (PDMI)
Overview
PDMI is a part of the DLA Business System Modernization (BSM) initiative intended to allow for the replacement of mission-critical legacy Document Management systems with an enterprise business system based on commercially available off-the-shelf software while adopting proven and successful business practices used in the commercial marketplace. - Developed dialog programs, reports, utility programs and user exits within DMS (R/3) using DOCUMENT and Classification BAPI and user exits
- Case/Records Management (WAS/Netweaver) using CASE object BADI, BAPI
- Developed flexible (with table-driven rules) DIR (Document Info Record) validation involving DMS and Classification user exits (both BADI and SMOD/CMOD)
