David Cerminaro, Founder, CEO

picture of David Cerminaro, Founder and CEO of Diligent Consulting Inc Diligent was founded by David Cerminaro, a retired Air Force Officer. David started his military career in the U.S. Army, he served in the 24th Mechanized Infantry Division and the 5th Signal Command where he received numerous awards including Soldier of the Year. David then enlisted in the Air Force were he served as flight-line Crew Chief, he excelled in this field and was awarded Maintenance Technician of the Year for Air Training Command, David was also awarded a Meritorious Service Medal for saving an aircraft from a ground collision while putting himself at great risk.

In 1986 David was awarded an ROTC scholarship to finish his computer science degree. He attended Angelo State University in San Angelo Texas where he became the Director of Operations for the ROTC Cadet Staff. In 1990 David returned to the Air Force as an Officer where he performed extensive ORACLE design work in the Air Force personnel arena before he progressed to Air Force Space Command where he furthered his expertise in the ORACLE.

In 1997 David retired from the United States Air Force as a decorated officer and Disabled Veteran. Upon leaving the Air Force, David worked for a consulting company helping to build their workforce from 18 consultants up to 42 consultants when he departed. David started Diligent in August of 2001 because he saw a need in the market place for high quality information technology talent at a better value than was being offered by the competition.

Douglas E. Klaymeier, Founder, CFO

picture of Douglas E. Klaymeier, Founder, CFO of Diligent Consulting Inc Doug Klaymeier offers over nineteen years of professional experience. He is a good communicator, a strong organizer, a proven organization builder and an accomplished project manager with an excellent delivery track record. Doug is an experienced leader and team builder that people want to follow and has always earned the respect of the team members around him. His technical expertise spans a broad spectrum of hardware and operating system platforms, various programming languages, tools, and databases. He has participated in the successful development and deployment of numerous information based applications. Doug can see the big picture and is an excellent analyst who understands both data and function.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering with the University of South Florida, December 1995. In addition he has performed Post Graduate work on a Masters in Engineering Management with the Air Force Institute of Technology and Florida State University.

After founding Diligent with David Cerminaro in 2001 Doug designed, developed and served as project manager of a web-based training tracking system for the Air Force Reserve, a web-based training system for the Air Force Surgeon General's office and a web-based Physical Health system for tracking data and requirements associated with the annual physicals required by each member of the Air Force Reserve.

Prior to his role with Diligent Doug served as Principal Consultant with ThinkSpark Corporation/Database Consultants, Inc. While there he designed, developed and served as project manager of several web-based systems for Nextel Communications, DecisionOne and the Air Force Reserve.

Richard L. Riney, III [Rick], Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

Riney, III [Rick], Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Diligent Consulting Inc As EVP and Chief Operating Officer since Feb 2012, Rick's role is to accelerate Diligent's growth in Software Development and Modernization, IT Solutions and Professional Services, and Virtual Training Applications to government and commercial markets by leading Strategic Planning, Business Development, and Operations and Business Management.

Prior to Diligent, Rick served as SVP and General Manager of NCI Information System's Air Force and Technology Services Group, managing P&L for a diverse portfolio of programs in excess of $125M, including the full gamut of Information Technology, Medical Systems modernization and support, Acquisition/Engineering/Logistics professional services and system/component design and delivery, and Training services.

Prior to NCI's acquisition of Karta Technologies in June 2007, Rick was the SVP of Business Development (BD), expanding their pipeline from $167M to over $1B, achieving record win rates, while helping build distinction in their market areas.

Prior to Karta, Rick spent 27 years at Lockheed Martin, in numerous P&L, Program Management, R&D, and BD functions. His last assignment was managing P&L for the $100M Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Unit. Rick also managed the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System - the world's largest personnel system containing over 825,000 records. The program received a 5.0 CPAR; a five-year, sole source $130M follow-on; and was recognized as one of the top 25 IT programs in the Federal Government for 2004. Rick has enjoyed assignments in Intelligent Transportation Systems, Robotics, Planetary & Launch Vehicles, the Superconducting Super Collider, & the Space Shuttle External Tank requirements, test and launch teams.

Rick received a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Ohio Institute of Technology in 1979, earning Tau Alpha Pi academic honors. Rick is also a Project Management Professional (PMP ©).

Married to Barbara for over 27 years, they enjoy eating their way around San Antonio's great restaurants. Rick is fascinated by the history of science & technology and collects related autographs and scientific instruments. He also enjoys Smooth Jazz music & fine wine.

Roger Williams , Vice President of Operations

picture of Roger Williams, Vice President of Operations of Diligent Consulting Inc As Vice President of Operations, Roger is responsible for managing all field operations and activities for locally based Diligent. Since joining Diligent in February of 2002 he has held various leadership positions within the company, to include his current duties as Vice President of Operations, as Vice President of Business Development, as a Senior Program Manager on diverse federal and commercial contracts, and as the company’s Facility Security Officer – a position he still maintains. He has been an integral part of Diligent’s growth from less than 10 employees when he first joined to the over 130 employees it consists of today.

Prior to joining Diligent, Roger was the Director of Infrastructure and Director of Education for Database Consultants, another Information Technology consulting firm with revenues exceeding $80M in 2000. In these positions, Roger led the company in its Oracle Approved Education Center (OAEC) program, which covered 13 education centers and business locations throughout the country. He was responsible for managing and supporting all of the company’s computer and communication systems and real estate operations.

Prior to Database Consultants, Roger was a network administrator and project manager on numerous network and software development projects for the United States Air Force. He separated from the military in 1996 as a Captain.

Roger graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana, and a Masters of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP©) as per the Project Management Institute His hobbies and interests include supporting various charitable organizations and church activities, watching Notre Dame football, playing golf, listening to music (mostly rock), and raising his 3 young children along with his wife of sixteen years Dana. Roger and Dana are expecting their fourth child in September.

Pete Fredericksen , Vice President of Business Development

picture of Pete Fredericksen, Vice President of Business Development of Diligent Consulting Inc As Vice President of Business Development, Pete is responsible for managing all sales and marketing activities for locally based Diligent. Since joining Diligent in July of 2005 he has held various leadership positions within the company, to include his current duties as Vice President of Business Development. He has been an integral part of Diligent’s phenomenal growth from less than 40 employees when he first joined, to the over 130 employees it consists of today.

Prior to joining Diligent, Pete was the Director for Air Force Air Education and Training Command and Air Force Personnel lines of business for Lockheed Martin Information Technology Services. In this position, Pete managed $30 million in annual revenue and over 400 employees spread across 5 states. Pete was responsible for all aspects of the business and was recognized with numerous performance awards including the Lockheed Martin President’s Award for Management.

Prior to Lockheed Martin, Pete served in numerous leadership roles in the commercial sector including IT Director for several national companies

Pete graduated from Texas A&M University – Institute of Electronic Science in 1981. He is a devoted family man and is very involved in charitable activities within the community.
